Top 5 Unique Facts About The Asian Games Torch

  1. Eternal flame from India 
The flame is flown from India because India is the first host to the Asian Games on 1951. the flame is taken from the National Dhyan Cand Stadium in New Delhi where the first ever Asian Games was held. The torch is pass down symbolically by Indian Olympic Association President to the head Indonesian Asian Games committee as a symbol of the spirit that keeps on living.

     2.The flame is must kept alive
The flame is treated with special treatment and must kept alive until it has arrived into Indonesia. It even has a special plane and a special tinder box filled with gas fuel which can last for about 10 hours.

     3.The torch is escorted five fighter jet
The flame of the torch is guarded by five jet(for safety reasons) and has landed on Yogyakarta flawlessly.

     4. The eternal flame in Mrapen A.K.A on of  Indonesia's pride
After the flame has arrived it is later combine with the eternal flame from Mrapen this happend on Wednesday july 18th 2018 on Candi Perambanan, in Yogyakarta.

    5.The torch will travel around our province
The Asian Games torch will traveled around 54 cities and district in Indonesia right around july 18th  to august 18th (so for a month).

To whomever stumbles across this entry, Honestly why? Don't you have more pressing matters that you could've attend to instead of being here? But regardless, I guess you're already here. "Ahmad Yani"

     Ahmad Yani was a national hero of Indonesia that died on October 1st 1965, but let's start at the beginning. Ahmad Yani was born on june 19th 1922 in  Jenar, Purwokerto, Central Java.
